Given VAST's grandiose textures, it's no surprise that Crosby professes to have a love affair with effects. "I add reverb to everything," he admits. "I'll keep pouring it on until there's an ocean of reverb and people have to stop me because I'm out of control." An interesting twist, however, is that Crosby's effects obsession withers outside the studio. He doesn't bring a single pedal onstage when he performs live.
